MEDICO-PASTORAL ASSOCIATION A Centre for Mental Health Care We are a 50 year old NGO, providing half way home rehabilitation facilities, both residential and day-care for persons with mental health issues. We have currently 35residents and 6 day care residents. Residents are under the treatment of their individual Psychiatrists.

Implement overall goals from the 'vision document' under Secretary's supervision, developing prioritized and time-bound work plans.

Overall responsibility for all professional and technical activities including clinical and rehabilitation work of Half-Way Home and Navajeevan Hostel, training programs, and SAHAI Suicide Prevention Programme.

Oversee and supervise Senior Counselor functions, reporting any issues to the Secretary in writing.

Serve as ex-officio member on committees designated by Managing Committee.

Report professionally to President/Vice-President/Consultant and administratively to Honorary Secretary.

Conduct initial interviews with new residents and families, opening files and completing admission procedures on the same day.

Provide counseling services to assigned residents and their families, maintaining standardized case history records within stipulated time frames.

Maintain systematic records of counseling sessions, including session summaries, contracts, and homework assignments.

Maintain correspondence records with follow-up work, with copies to Administrator.

Handle prescriptions from Psychiatrists/Visiting Physician and follow up on prescribed treatments.

Conduct Individual Counseling, Family and Group Psychotherapy sessions to help residents develop healthy coping mechanisms, resolve conflicts, and build confidence.
